Matt Bevin Endorsed by Kentucky's Leading Small Business Association

Today, the Matt Bevin for Governor campaign announced the National Federation of Independent Business, the nation’s and Kentucky’s leading small-business association, has endorsed Matt Bevin for governor.

"Matt Bevin is the only choice for Kentucky’s small, family businesses,” said Tom Underwood, state director of NFIB/Kentucky in a press release.

“Matt Bevin is a small-business owner himself, a serial entrepreneur whose experience in the financial services industry puts him in the best position to address the looming disaster posed by the underfunded Kentucky Employees’ Pension Plan,” Underwood said.

“Something else our members like is that Matt Bevin is not a career politician,” Underwood said.“He’ll bring a fresh perspective to the issues facing our commonwealth.”

“Our members are tired of the same old same old,” he said. “Our members want a governor with real-world experience. Our members want Matt Bevin.”

NFIB represents 4,000 small businesses in Kentucky and will encourage its members and their employees to launch a grassroots effort in support of the campaign.

“We are proud to receive the endorsement of Kentucky’s small businesses,” said campaign manager Ben Hartman. “In order to turn our economy around, Kentucky needs an outsider businessman, not an insider politician who has never created a single job in his life.”
